Wikipedia is one of the top 10 most used websites in the world and the most widely used encyclopedia. Yet it's estimated that 84%-92% of all Wikipedia entries are edited or produced by men. Hear the Gap was hacked by gabs from the original Listen to Wikipedia project created by Stephen LaPorte and Mahmoud Hashemi. It estimates the number of male editors based on surveys that have been conducted by Wikipedia. The edits are real time however the male and female edits are randomly assigned.
